So im sceduled to go record tomrrow everything is lined up and ready to roll.. Of course i would wake up w/ a sore throat of course. well looks like im gonna take it easy today drink asd much water as possible and hope i feel better tomorrow.. if i dont then i am gonna reschedule yet again. |

Sooner than later
Today has seemed like one of those days where alot of stuff comes to light. After feeling kinda shitty the last couple days, i worked for a few hours fixing my basement up, for SALE in the near future. I noticed that the house up the block that just went on the market allready SOLD and then we got a couple calls from people who are interested in possibly buying our house Its not even on the fucking market yet and allready we have multiple possible offers. So I may be moving sooner than expected. I will at least be able to get my debut ep and some other musical endevors completed before i move. its gonna be interesting to see how things work out. im allready finding more opprotunity in the Bay area i found out tonite that in april at a college in Oakland the one and only MUTABARUKA is teaching a revolution with words poety class FUCK YEAH Im down that sounds fucking awesome. gee i wonder why clark dosnt offer that one?? HAHAHAHAHA so funny i forgot to LAUGH. shit portland cant even muster something like that and their light years ahead of this town then again this town has gone back in time like 20 or 30 years in just 5 years. my sympathy goes to the youth growing up here these days where is there to hang out for them. the MALL?? in other news the new skinny puppy album is expected to be out in january sometime and a new download album is the works SHIT YEAH. Moving Forward out of Babylon
Well as usual I have been awake allnite, how is this time any differnt? Well Ive been making contacts for up and coming shows and ive contacted alot of local conscious artists too. Its nice when things end sometimes, because it pushes me to get moving on something new and productive. Its funny and pretty sad how vancouver bitches about having to live in portlands shadow because if you look at it, what does this town have to offer? Alot of half assed failed or failing club attempts, police corruption, born again extremists, a gentryfacted yuppie downtown area that is pushing the public transportation out so those yuppies dont have to see poor people and still no real culture just starbucks and bars. Theres no Dennys(still a corporation) which bothers me to this day. Thats where I would go to get outta my house and to see random friends, but guess were all supposed to be DRUNKS now I drink very rarely which most of you know. Id still like to see most of you but im not gonna subject myself to the bullshit that is 15th they seem hell bent on greed and i cant condone that so i will have to see all of you at other places. Not having anywhere to go is gonna be good for me though i think. Im planing on spending more time in portland where things i enjoy are more prevalent and where i have a better chance of gettin more exposure w/ my music. you can expect much more from king tam like a quality cd and many more shows playing alongside other conscious artists this may sound lie a ramble it kind of is i typed it all out and it looked really good but my computer froze and i lost it so im tryin to remember everything i wrote before. JELLO !!! MELVINS!!!! lawsuit?
Well it must be said I CANT HEAR ANYTHING RIGHT NOW. damn ringing in my ears The show was FANTASTIC im not a melvins fan att mainly because i am not familular. Jello and the melvins though TORE THE ROOF OFF. It was great to hear some old dead kennedys tunes and allot new ones. But the iceing on the cake was as a encore song he played ROCK AND ROLL MCDONALDS! then into holiday in cambodia R.I.P WESLEY WILLIS oh and the lawsuit thing yeah my mom fell in a pay parking lot gettin our car and injured herself the lot is owned by jakes anyone have any tips as to getting them to cover the hospital visit and then some?? we have plenty of documentation and the lot had alot of cracked pavement that caused her to trip and land on her head. any help would be greatly appreciated. brap: "to hook up electronic instruments get HIGH and record" and thats exactly what me and a guy in southeast portland did tonite!! it was a good jam i will have a cd copy of it soon too. donnt know if me and him will be jamming much more though on his way drivin me home he said you live really FAR AWAY, so who knows it was nice to jam on some crazy electro stuff for a change. its deffinitly a differnt dirrection than reggae beats and what not but i wanna play alot of differnt stuff though too.. SKINNY PUPPY DVD
So tuesday i went out around 1pm to downtown portland to pick up the new skinny puppy DVD. I get to downtown portland and go straight to OZONE UK its the day of the release they will have it in for sure right? NOT. I went to every-other indie music retail stores and NONE of them had it. At last I FOUND a copy. ONE single copy at SAM GOODY of all places. What a concept to get a dvd on the release DAY.SO i headed back to VAnTUKKY and straight home to call drew so i could comeover to watch but before i must watch some of the scecial features HAHA. FUCKIN AWESOME. I call drew and mr MIKE is over there too he picked me up from home actually. SO we put it in and watch the euro trauma documentary first, and meet with MR GREEN GUY. Good homage to DWAYNE/aDUCK in it deffinitly. We start the first disk after its over and OMG FUCKIN AWESOME 5.1 SURROUND SOUND LIVE FUCKIN SKINNY PUPPY AND I GET TO DO WHAT I WANTED TO DO AT THe CONCERT TOO SMOKE A FUCKIN JOINT HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH AHA all in all its a great dvd and well worth the 25 bucks i bought it sam goody after all im sure its cheaper somewhere else but no one else had it and i NEEDED it......skinny puppy never disappoints and the 5.1 thing is FUCKIN AMAZING!!!
